I think the best to avoid is either to stay in the less popular parts of Bali and explore those areas, or stay in a resort and only enjoy the immediate surroundings on foot.

Hello Damian & Winny! Thanks 4 honest update! Close the street to cars just like hiking in mountains! Who wants to go on vacation & sit in traffic? Seminyak has so many interesting places 2 shop & eat. I very much appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. It helps all of us learn about situation in Bali.

Traffic, cost of airfares, visa costs and general price rises in accommodation are not helping. Bali was a nice low cost destination for most. Now it’s possibly out of reach for most. Good luck with the Russians.

Yes the traffic looks bad, and makes it look busy. Good spotting the cars are only 1 up. Probably more concerning is the lack of people in the shops and restaurants during the peak season.😎😎😎🙏🙏🙏

Hi Guys. The single Biggest problem in Bali, which I fear is going to keep people away, is the on going TRAFFIC PROBLEMS!!!. I don't know what the goverment can do about it, but something has to be done???. Thanks folks. See you tomorrow!!!.

It's an illussion that foreign tourists are back in big numbers. Of course there are many tourists, but perhaps its only 40prct than before the pandemic. Ask all travel agents in Bali, they are all down at least 50prct if not more. Reasons; vaccin mandate was a big reason, luckely cancelled now but the effect will be seen only next year. Booking season for this year is over. Plus still very expensive flight tickets. "Tourists" been seen now are a mix of all kind of people for all kind of reasons in Bali, but not the classic package tourists. In other Indonesian destinations it is even much worse, although and luckely they do very good on domestic tourists. Last but not least reason: too much negative and conflicting info, and rules and this and that from the authorities.

Ageing Baby boomers & air flights don’t mix, Best to open port to cruise lines from OZ stay over 3 days to value add to Bali’s tourism & create a whole new industry, no back packers here only cashed up visitors 👍🏻 Terima kasih Nikmati Hidup 🙏🏻
