Very interested in the Pixel Tablet. I wonder if Graphene or Calyx or Lineage are working on custom ROMs for those. I like Pixel phones with custom ROMs, and it would be nice to have the same thing on a Pixel Tablet.

I'm pretty sure they said in October's Pixel event that the Pixel Tablet uses Tensor G2.

Pixel Watch 2 is an interesting subject, I've actually really grown to love the Pixel Watch to the extent that I cannot go back to wearing the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic anymore as it is SO UNCOMFORTABLE compared to the Pixel Watch! Google may have built a form factor/size that went against market trends but it's definitely a good idea! I've decided that whilst big watches can be great (I own Huwaei Watch 3 and TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra) and reasonably comfortable despite being big, if you get the form slighty wrong on a big watch they can be terrible e.g. Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, the size aligned to the terrible strap design make a big watch feel even bigger and really bad to wear! Mind you, to be honest I would still be only using Huawei watches if they had better "smarts" with Google calendar/notifications or the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra if it's vibration motor wasn't ridiculously noisy!! The search for watch perfection

Highly unlikely that Google would give the 7a the GN1. The Camera Bar on the leaked hands-on device isn't thick enough for that. Pretty unnecessary given how good the 6A was.

Hopefully they reduce the Pixel 8 size to around the Pixel 5. That size was perfect for me and it's clearly not too small for the market as the Iphone 12/13/14 and the S21/S22 are around the same size as well.

I'm so glad Pixel is reducing the size of the regular Pixel 8. Having the both Pixel lines 8 & 8Pro with a larger size gap makes sense financially/demographically speaking. Not everyone enjoys carrying a brick in their pockets. That's exactly the same strategy used by Apple so I'm glad Google is learning from that.

Great video as usual, Damien. Honestly, the only two things keeping me from calling my P7 perfect is the battery life and lack of an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, so if the P8 can pull through on those ends, I'll be a happy camper.

been using the 7 pro since release. no major complaints, it does check all the boxes. what i'd like to see is a more powerful Tensor G3 (more on par with S8gen2) and a more flawless software experience (at least on google apps)

I love Pixel products but I'm getting a bit frustrated that Apps are generally better on iPhone/iOS. For example, the Android version of Youtube Shorts is missing editing controls, including the one where you can adjust the volume and mix of added music and the original audio. Seems odd since YouTube and Android are run by the same parent company and if people can't do a Short, they look to IG Reels or TikTok (both YouTube/Google competitors). I have heard that the reason is coding for Android is much more difficult than iOS.

Looking forward to the P8. I just hope they finally fix the issues with network and WiFi connectivity...

It will be a breakthrough when we will get all the features in every country. And have them sell officially at least all over Europe. We still struggle with not having vowifi, HD calls and 5G in most of Europe, while all the competitors offer that. And it is really hard to find someone who can fix it if it's broken since it is not officially sold here and no authorized services are available.

Had a Pixel 6 Pro, traded it for a Samsung Fold 4, I hate the Samsung UI. Patiently waiting for the Pixel Fold to come back to Google.

Super interested in the Pixel Tablet and Foldable. Let's hope at least the Tablet sees the light of day in May
