The Moondrop Elven Maiden is just a reshelled Aria, it’s more expensive because of the paint job and it’s status as a Hatsune Miku collab, rather than a regular IEM. Similar story with the Stardust, reshelled, except that that IEM is a Moeyu collab(a Chinese company that distributes Hatsune Miku and other Vtuber/VOCALOID merch).

(However Super*Review’s FR shows that the Stardust has less upper mids/lower treble)

Hope the Aria dont face the paint chipping issue. Mine is all bare metal cause I sanded the paint since it started chipping.

Was eyeing the Elven Maiden from last year. I was really debating whether to get the Aria's since I already have the KXXS but kinda worried if the paint would chip overtime. Since it's a limited edition I would really like for it to stay pristine for a long time

You should try the Fiio JH3. It sounds a bit too sharp with silicone tips but with either the included foams or aftermarket foams it sounds amazing for 40$

Hey Jimmy, thanks so much for all your hard work dude. As an opera singer and professional orchestral double bassist, I got into this hobby abt 2 months ago. But man, the missus is gonna kill me, hahahaha. My journey started with the now infamous KZ DQ6s, but along with that, I have the Aria, Tin T3+, Fearless Barcelona, QOA Vesper, Dunu Titan S, and I just pulled the trigger on the Shuoer S12.

My question to you is, what portable dac/amp would you suggest I use as I use my iems mostly on my iPhone XS Max and iPad Pro. I’m looking for something relatively inexpensive but that has a neutral to slightly warm sound.
