Watch PM Narendra Modi oath ceremony live updates - After a landslide victory in Lok Sabha elections 2019, Narendra Modi is all set to take oath as Prime Minister of India for his second term at 7 pm today. President Ram Nath Kovind will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the Prime Minister and other members of the Union Council at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi in front of a large gathering of national and international dignitaries. A record number of 8,000 guests are likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony. In 2014, approximately 5,000 people attended the ceremony. The guest list includes heads of several neighbouring countries, chief ministers of most of the states and a few famous personalities of the entertainment world. The families of BJP workers who allegedly lost their lives in political violence in West Bengal in the last year have also been invited.

PM Narendra Modi Cabinet 2019: Here is a list of ministers who will be inducted in the new government

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi gets ready to take oath for his second tenure later in the day, party president Amit Shah has started calling up likely ministers who will be inducted in the Modi Cabinet. According to reports, after a final round of consultations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah has called BJP leader from Bihar Ravi Shankar Prasad, senior leader Prakash Javadekar, Union minister Piyush Goyal and Dharmendra Prasad.

Ministers selected for oath of office will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence at 4.30 today, shortly before the swearing-in ceremony.

The list of union ministers is likely to be sent to the Rashtrapati Bhavan soon.
