I shall build the cat but I won’t forget about my charger

Funny story: while trying to get this vulpaphyla, I came up with a cunning strategy to do a vulpaphyla capture with the pheremone gland, then shoot the panzer once with an unmodded pistol before I tranqued it. However, after I had for the attack, I encountered a random weakened panzer vulpaphyla standing almost right on top of the poop.

To note : hunter recovery synergize with Bite. It rise up the damages because Crit, and then you're immortal

The Panzer only shows up during the orange worm cycle.

Suggestions on changes to the build:
- Swap Medi-Pet Kit for Pack Leader. So long as you can smack something with a melee weapon, this works MUCH better for healing, and the bleedout reduction on Medi-Pet Kit is pointless here (they don't enter bleedout).
- Potentially drop Link Armor; I'm unsure if it needs that much survivability for anything short of Steel Path or Sortie content. That said it's probably useful in those cases.
- EDIT: KEEP Swipe - as stated by Justin Reich, this actually acts as multishot on the viral quills!
- Maul for more damage, so lifesteal gives you even MORE life per hit. Doesn't help the spines, admittedly, but it does help other attacks.
- If you want to see some downright nasty damage, give it Bite (if you're lucky enough to have it). Seriously, between armor removal, viral procs, and crits the Panzer can actually kill stuff at some pretty high levels BY ITSELF!

Medi-Pet kit is useless on the panzer, since it never goes "down", you could have put synth fiber for nekros, or maul for more healing.

Just a heads up, you can tranq the animal and it'll stay asleep for a lot longer (maybe forever? not sure) than sleep arrows, then you can lure the infested over to it as long as you don't collect it. That's how I finished getting my Deimos companions.

The quills are affected by bite and elementals mods (dmg wise)

Personally I go with Synth mods on my Panzer. Increase health orb drops so you can combine that with equilibrium for energy and you can make panzer tankier too

Clan : And we need Panzer Vulpaphyla specifically beeeecaaaause ?....

Me : Idk .... Idk what it is about this thing ... I don't know shit about it .... But I know it's gonna do great things ....

The panzer Vulp : They can kill me but like a phoenix I keep coming back .... A diseased phoenix

you missed some mod synergies:

First one is [Hunter Recovery]. This means you heal for 30% of the damage being dealt by your spores, which is probably damaging 20+ enemies at a time. This allowed my unmodded, unarcaned Inaros to outheal 3 or 4 level 100 corrupted heavy gunners all spraying at me. Passive healing cause why not.

The second one is [Synth Fiber] / [Synth Deconstruct]. Deconstruct means that enemies injured by the companion (or its spores) have a 25% chance of dropping a health orb when killed. This lets any frame take advantage of [Health Conversion] with nearly as much profficiency as Nekros, making this mod actually something you have to consider before calling your build "the best". And [Synth Fiber] Increases its armor on health orb pickup, so if you have [Link Armor] that also gives your warframe more survivability.

...You sure about that? I've been farming for weeks and still haven't even seen a Crescent Vulpaphyla while having dozens of Panzers.

Just got it today

- stealth (ivara best)
- use 3.
- tranq it.
- drop a pod on it, after it's tranq'd. ( i had to use 3 pods to get a mob to come hit it )
- The attacks, still "weakened" it while shielded..

- fly back
- collect.

We REALLY need pets (kubrows, kavats, the infested ones) to have a weapon to put only dmg mods.
Imagine Carrier but you need 6 slots for dmg mods

I find it funny people call this the cat and the other one a dog when it's actually the reverse. The vulpa is a fox.

The only one that I don't have...

And this video made me want it more

Also: I would reccomend not running any companion while trying to get the weakened vulpaphyla as I personally had a vizier predasite equipped and it made it a hassle to bring infested over to the sleeping animal. This will not be a problem, however, if there is already infested close by.
