Yum I love Greek food - Orthodox Easter is always a big deal, everyone is starving from Sarakosti fasting (Lent) about forty days before Easter. The word Sarakosti means 40 in Greek.
During the Sarakosti people restrain from eating meat, dairy or fish but they are allowed to eat seafood.
Those neighbours would’ve been doing a big feast with spit roast meats etc - and don’t get me started in the desserts - drool … growing up I had Greek friends.
I like these casual vlogs … Wow that looked amazing, both places did - so peaceful. I was drooling over the food … & over that 🐶- he was sooo cute. I love Corfu. It's my favourite place! I go every year. Back again in July for 2 weeks 💙
If you go to Corfu again, please try the north west side of the island. Much different to all the All Inclusive places on the NE side.
