02:43 - Walking to Uzbek Ladies from Namangan and Further Exploration
06:17 - New Mosque Under Construction
07:37 - Lunch with Namangan Man from the Construction Site
In this video, I take you to Namangan, Uzbekistan's second largest city by population after Tashkent. Namangan is a city located in the heart of the Fergana valley, an area of Uzbekistan rarely explored by tourists. This is a city where few people speak Russian and even fewer speak English. The city prides itself on its flowers and overall greenery. Let's see what else this city has to offer!
Uzbekistan (Oʻzbekiston) is a lovely ex-USSR country located in Central Asia. Its official language is Uzbek (although the majority of the population also speaks Russian).
Neighboring states: in the east - Kyrgyzstan; in the northeast, north and northwest - Kazakhstan; in the southwest and south - Turkmenistan; in the south - Afghanistan; and in the southeast - Tajikistan.

If you search around on google, you can find many good resources like Lonely Planet, Caravanistan, Journal of Nomads, and Atlas Obscura. However, many of them are outdated. For the most up to date Uzbekistan info...
