Holy fcking sht. I did not plan on watching this because I figured it would be a reiteration of what was 8 years ago and I did not want to endure the negativity of things I already know more than I need to. Boy was I wrong. I am extremely cautious when it comes to comparing anything to what happened in my homecountry Germany 90 years ago, but I honestly think that comparison is justified here.
This time, they are fully aware of what they are voting for and they'll be voting for him with their full conscience. I am terrified. This is the dismanteling of a democracy.

Fun fact, in the Wizard of Oz series of books the main character is a boy (Tip), who was born as a girl princess and was changed to a boy and put into hiding. Found out years later when he decided to go back to being princess Ozma. Just saying. That was like 1904. So gender swapping has at least been discussed since then.
