Some Western companies operating in Russia are pausing their plans to exit despite efforts to isolate the country's economy.

The invasion of Ukraine sparked a mass exodus of multinationals from the Russian market, wary of a potential consumer backlash should they stay - but some continue to operate.

It's not that difficult to understand. Western companies are highly leverage and can't reduce income. That's why they still operate in Russia and states buying Russian LNG. The whole west is under debt and that comes with a price. Politicians blame Putin but he just spotted our weakness that's self inflicted.

Why not mention the many more US and French companies still operating in Russia? The likes of BP and British American tobacco cut off most of their ties with Russia along with many other UK businesses.Unilever is Anglo Dutch so it might not be a decision the UK division can take alone.Typical SKY news doing half a job of reporting.
