A decent showing from the RX 6900 XT and Ryzen 7 5800X. If Unreal Engine 5 really does utilise the CPU like this in future games to come, then it is a step in the right direction. Adrenaline Driver 22.4.1 was used with the RX 6900 XT to test this demo.

Some people say GTA5 looks comparable :P, but personally I'm blown away how photorealistic this demo looks like. Even something simple like the fence is build from polygons instead of bitmaps.

As insanely good as the city and even cars look (outside of reflections on the car windows while driving), as soon as it comes to characters, or to be more specific skin, the real life feel of this demo falls apart. It was the same with the other UE5 demo back then too.
I feel like unity (and its latest showcase video) looks way better in that regard, hopefully they also release some kind of demo one day, to see if it holds that level in an in-game scenario.

And before i forget it, thanks for being so fast with these videos. It's always a joy to watch them, and whenever a new game comes out I'm here to see if you cover it in a video.

the high CPU usage is likely to do asset decompression that consoles have dedicated hardware. once directstorage is turned on, it should improve things

I was contemplating on buying this card now this specific card you're running the XFX Speedster MERC 319 6900XT is selling on Amazon right now for 1, 574.99$ in Canada here.... super tempting because it is a beast of a card man! this looks fantastic and like you said in your other vid it beats the 3090ti in some cases with this game it seems!? its all down to the devs utilizing the hardware! goes to show you can get killer performance if they gear it toward AMD or Nvidia it seems...

Very nice. Im thinking tho, maybe there's room for improvement on interiors visible at ground level?. Could these be made in actual 3d? Because far away the projection thing or whatever is called looks great, or looking straight from the front, but at an angle the perspective is noticeably wrong.

cor i think some faster draw calls are needed, pc really does not like going fast. can you do a video going over 40mph lol, oooof them frame drops on a 25 tf card? man my 3060 wont run this. at least i have a ps5

since unreal engine 5 supports dlss and will later support fsr 2.0, if someone has knowledge on how to implement on this demo it will be interesting to test both since it will be much easier to implement.

Damn the CPU is bottlenecking even at 4k
