Although you may occasionally want to change time zones as you travel, you rarely need to adjust the date and time on your Mac laptop if you select the option to set date and time automatically. However, if that day comes, you can make the adjustments in the Date & Time preferences screen, which you open by clicking on the time indicator at the top right corner of your Mac's menu bar.

This tutorial will apply for MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, MacBook Mini's running the macOS operating system.

im not able to change the year .
current year on my Mac is 1943 and the most I am able to go is till 1953, I want to set it to 2020, which is not happening
