This explained why I didn't have the cool down I needed without the H Crest. I couldn't get over 9 conjurations and the damage was way less than my fireball with illuminator and endless rage! Thanks!

Just finished this build and I'm having a blast with it. Carried my buddies from 50 to 100 in a couple hours of running tier 7 hordes. Carried them through uber lilith and farmed a couple mythics. Some really good tips in this video, I'll make sure to implement next time I play.

Don’t discount his advice on waiting until you have gear for this build, if you try it below 100 with sub optimal gear it will suck.

Chain lightning paired with crackling is a good contender too. Can also pump out Lightning strikes just as fast as you utilize crackling cool down rate of all lightning skills.

Why charge bolts? I understand it's for DR, but at what point you use it to proc DR? How?

why lightning spear lucky hit chance on gloves & pants ? you have 90 % on amulet, does lucky hit chance bonus not count ? 

& 9 % LHC from lightning spear itself on skill tree ?? 90 + LHCB + lightning spear bonus + gloves & pants ?

Dont get tal Rasha, get a good ring with crit/critdmg/intel instead. roll spear cdr on the ring, and then more crit dmg. drop the gloves and use fist of fate with high
lucky hit instead, use the aspect from the gloves on ur new ring.

Fire Hydra is a great build to go into this. Just buffing it on gear really destroys the early game. Made it to Tier 3 at level 29, and Tier 4 at level 44, after that you can switch to your lightning spear build or just do an all conjuration build that focuses on Fire Hydra and is almost as good as your build. Anyway, it's a really fast way to get into any Sorcerer build. Three Hydra's with eight heads each just bring the smoke! I'd love to see if you can break the Fire Hydra. I literally never have to even cast it, just always have three with frozen orb.

I followed the guide from Raxx and the only real difference I can see is he goes Elementalist on the first board instead of Control. He goes Unleash on the board that you went Elementalist. The other 6 glyphs are the same and the board is very similar just small changes on the 2 boards with glyph differences. Any comment on why one would be better than the other? Seems like these boards are getting really close to the same.
