Khvostov 7G-0X Exceeds Expectations (I Also Have A Way To Abuse It In PvP)

When I first say it was coming back i was on the fence. Khvostov has been brought back countless times, but this time they brought the sauce. VERY unique and easy to get going exotic perk that's powerful. I show how it works and how to get the most out of it.

Khvostov can also directly counter enemies being shielded by a taken goblin since you can shoot the shielded enemies and the ricochets will often take out the goblin (I have a deep hatred for taken goblins).

Just a heads up for anyone who doesnt know but bungie anounced the damage boost in the "eyes up gaurdian" perk is a misprint and wasnt intended. So if youre expecting a big damage boost and it feels lackluster in comparison to what it should be thats why

In my opinion, this weapon is up there in power with Outbreak Perfected. Outbreak is the better for chunkier targets, while Khvostov is better for ad clear. It is an absolute POWERHOUSE. I love it.

Hey... Titans.
Put on War Rig, remember it returns ammo based on the amount of ammo in the mag. If you're gonna go all out, put on the War Rig for a bigger mag which means more bonus damage bullets. Remember that War Rig also works with Heavy Machine Guns too. So load out your best 'dps' machine gun and rain down a hail storm of bullets.

Arguably the best of the the non-raid TFS exotic weapons, even over Still Hunt since it's there for a single niche role, while Khvo is more neutral and can fit on most builds.

One thing to note even though it won’t come up too much is that the ricochets aren’t influenced by range. If you hit the enemy no matter how far away they will still do full damage. So it actually works at extreme ranges to clear ads before you get there or grouped up snipers

I haven’t played this since Lightfall. Going flawless on trials solo queue was the hardest it’s ever been. Khostov is very dominant for sure. I was dead before the third tap with Ace quite often. Absolute beastly weapon. Can’t wait to give a try once I’m done with the quest.

Used it in my comp placements using the speakers mask for warlock. Making orbs on healing teammates made it easy to always have orbs for the perk.

Coolguy didn't mention it, but Kovostov along with some artifact mods and a prismatic fragment was built to give you transcendents very quickly.. So, if you feel transcendent is week and you only pop it when you have those transcendent shielded enemies, try a transcendent build so you can use it all the time. That's its purpose. Sure, it's good all around, but it was built to get you transcendent in seconds.
