Great video! I just picked up a Tracer 9 GT + and so far I am loving it. Could you tell me what mic you are using in this video? Is it just mounted right in front of your mouth or is it tucked into the cheek pads? Thanks

Sure hope you will get to test ride the 2025 Yamaha Tracer 9. That's what they are saying will be coming to the US. It's the base model. Supposed to be 12, 599. Yamaha gave us the GT+for 2024 and they also say it didn't sell very well. I guess most people here could care less for radar, etc. I believe they said it would come in the raven black color.

Lovely looking bike. Cant go wrong with a Yamaha. I prefer the simplicity of my Tracer 700 for touring though - certainly for 1up. Better mpg and fewer bits n bobs. Only negatives for me = max carry weight and location of plugs and air filter. Did 2000km 2up (overweight) through Europe this year and she handled it perfectly. Would like the ability to ride off-road so looking at a Transalp next.

I have a 2022 tracer 9gt. One hell of a bike and that's with thr not so favourable tfts. You can't say this bike is overpriced honestly. I know you youtubers absolutely cream over european bikes but you yourself had major issues with ktm and for a similar specd european bike your at the 22k mark as you said and you can't sit and say it's worth it. Your paying for the badge and the fact it's european. This bike with the tiger900 are just the best value for money around.

Yamaha seem to have a range of very capable bikes, good amount of tech and decent value for money.cant help thinking that they just dont have that spark though!

Seems like a great bike and a very complete package but the front end looks just don't do it for my taste. I hope you can get your hands on the new Multi v2 in the new year.

Overall a great bike. My problem is the location of the pegs. When you sit, the top side is very upright but the feet go way too back, it is not a good mix in my opinion. I prefer either upright position for both upper and lower body or if you need a more sporty position, if the pegs are on the back, the upper body should be more forward.

The tune is the exactly the same as the Tracer has a 50mm longer swingarm, and is obviously a bit heavier but there's no change to the engine

Damm good value compared to bmw and Ducati offerings hopefully Honda with the blade engine (instead of nt1100) will do the same and bring pricing down.

a similar spec'd GS you're well over 20k for nothing extra other than changing the chain to a shaft drive. Even the new one at £17, 000 (which has hill hold) is a bargain in comparison. And for that 17k you also get the Y-AMT which for me riding safety bikes (event marshal) will be very useful over my current RT

This is a terrible motorcycle for touring if you are over 6''1" tall. It's a great bike for little people and those who don't go very far on their trips.
