Did You Know In DEADPOOL…

A reference to Ryan Reynolds' other portrayal of a superhero is made! While Wade Wilson is being subjected to torture and surgery to become a mutant, he asks his torturer to not make his superhero suit green or animated. This is a reference to his previous short-lived stint as a superhero, Green Lantern who wore a green suit which was all animated throughout the movie. Green Lantern was a massive flop of a movie and to make sure it wouldn’t happen again, Reynolds used self deprecating humour here in the best way.

ryan reynolds made gl a flop because hal jordan is notjing like reynolds other characters. he was serious and wouldnt make smart aleck comments like deadpool does. the film had three major plot lines in it from the comics

What?! I didn't think green lantern was a flop movie!! Granted Ryan Reynolds weird humor that's in every one of his roles was misplaced as green lantern....(who doesn't really act that way in the was still a good movie! But they should still get someone else to play green
