8 Things I LOVE About Protestants (From A Catholic!)

As a Catholic, there are things I just LOVE about protestant churches. Here are a few of them!

Alongside that though, there are also things that I am not crazy about. We will dive into those as well.

I agree with so many of these and can relate to so many of them as a convert!

As a convert (I was raised Southern Baptist) the thing I'm the most grateful for from my upbringing was the knowledge of the scripture that we had really drilled into us so that there are still so many verses in my head, and just so much knowledge from years and years of Sunday School and youth group and Christian Coffee House time. And I'm especially grateful because even though we read very selectively (my knowledge of Acts and James was super sketchy) it was those verses that raised so many questions that caused a crisis of faith for me, and ultimately finding the answers to those questions in the Traditions and history of the Church (once saved always saved is the biggest example of this).
