Jaguar I-Pace vs Tesla Model X 75D drag race

Can the new Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV beat the Tesla Model X 75D in a 0-60-0mph drag race challenge? Jaguar put the two cars head-to-head as part of the launch of the I-Pace. Guys, come on, the 100D its a different model from the P100D. Tesla itself says the 100D takes 5 seconds from 0-100km/h and the P100D takes 3 seconds. So I guess that explains a lot, dont u? Dont worry, the P100D its still the beast we all know it is.

You all don’t get it. I have a Tesla. The Model X 100D (shown in video) is only 0-60 in 4.7 sec. The real, actually fast Tesla Model X is the P100D. The P making all the difference. That car does 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. No I did not mistype that. 2.9.

That's a bit confusing that the more powerful tesla lost by the same margin as the 75d. Bit suspicious. Did you use launch in the tesla? Are tesla lying about the difference in their cars? There is a difference between the 100d and the P100d of about 1sec 0to60. But if this is a promoted video the none of it matters.

I just watched other Youtube videos, The Tesla Model X 75D hits 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds and the 100D does it in 3.8 seconds. Those times are average and not the P Model of the X. It is possible that the Model X is this video was not fully charged hence the slower times

This is clearly a Jaguar advertisement. If they had raced the Jaguar iPace (with its 90 kWh battery) against an equally spec’d Model X P90D, it would have got smoked (0-60 mph is 3.2s).

Lol the 100D is not the performance model. the P100D is. the 100D is just for range, not performance. That being said, how much does the Jag cost? (so we can get a real price/preform comparison), not this BS.

The Tesla Model X 100D is more than a full second faster 0 - 60 during practical tests. Jaguar claims 4.5 seconds but nobody has gotten under 5. The Model X offers way more features and better performance. On top of all that the Jaguar stole the doorhandles off of a Tesla Model S!

Dont people understand that if you were to actually listen to the video, they didn't use a p100d because its twice the price of the Jaguar. So with the tesla this car actually competes with, it is faster.

And also take note the Jaguar stopped a lot sooner.

Why can't they test the I-Pace vs the P100DL? How can you be the forefront of the EV industry without a product for public? Can "almost" buy two Jaguar Ipace for the price of one P100DL, because you can almost buy two of them means you can't test it? This video is very misleading, you can buy plenty of Model X's for the price of a Porsche, Ferrari, Bugatti, Jaguar, Bently, etc... this doesnt exclude the fact they dont get tested against each other...

This is MISLEADING! They’re talking about the P100D but running the much slower 100D!
If they’d run the P100D it would’ve smoked the Jag, also it would’ve shown Tesla has a wider range of models.

It’s a shame Jaguar thought they had to do something like this, and it shows they don’t really believe in electric vehicles. The iPace isn’t a competitor to the Tesla, it’s a competitor to ICE vehicles. That’s what they should’ve compared with!
