Thank you for posting this video!! I love my new 22 Pathfinder. The only complaint is the auto stop/start. Your video just solved the only complaint I had. One thing for viewers to remember. I changed setting as you said while car was running and it didn’t take. I pulled over and turned car off and restarted. Then it took. I don’t know if that updated the settings or what but glad it’s off now. Thanks again for taking the time to show this option in settings. The dealership where I purchased pathfinder didn’t even know this!!

So that is just a difficult way to do what the Auto Off button next to the gear does? It's not permanent solution? If I understand the comments.

I turned this off the day I picked up my Pathfinder, but it does not do anything. Idle stop is still active. Still looking for a way to permanently disable it

I think this turns it off if you put the car eco mode. However the car start on the standard mode. So either have to switch it to eco mode or use the button. Just an additional step

This is very disappointing indeed. I would have thought the menu would allow the default setting at vehicle start and the button would just continue to turn on or off as desired. Having to push it every time you restart is annoying as heck. Nissan needs to rewrite the programming for this bug (not a feature!!!)

Try pressing the Auto Off button next to the Emergency Parking Brake button, below the gear knob. Thank me later!

i tried on mine and resets to auto every time you turn ur car off, very disappointing to see that Nissan doesn't give an option for permanent shut off.

Doesn’t the 22 pathfinder have the button next to the shifter to turn off the auto/off function?

This doesn't turn it off for good. You have to keep turning it off every time you use your car.

This doesn't shut it off permanently. Might as well just use the button by the shifter. No manufacturer that I know of allows you to shut it off for good unless you do some hokey pokey.

Or just press the button on the console... I can't imagine it's not standard on every nissan with this feature. Going through all these settings is stupid.

God forbid people have to push a button after starting the car. My god everyone is so spoiled.
