Alaskan Malamute are dogs that were made for sled and work, they are huskies just bigger bork and fluff. they are named after the nomadic tribe just like the "husky" which is normally a siberian husky was. ( also that's what Balto was. ) but they aren't as fluffy, their coats are a bit thinner. still a working dog just ... more for hunt and gather but some are still used for sled. idk, just in case you wanna know.
