PM Modi France Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on his two-day visit to France On July 13. The Indian Prime Minister will be visiting the European country as the Guest of Honour for the Bastille Day Parade at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. This is only the second time an Indian Prime Minister will be a Guest of honour at the Bastille Day Parade. Previously, in 2009, Former PM Manmohan Singh had been the guest of honour at the event. PM Modi will look to boost economic cooperation between India and France, and also strengthen strategic ties between the European Union and India.
