The hard part of this is knowing what actually sells and then having a general idea of what people will pay. That only comes with a decent amount of time invested. The bar graph only does so much sometimes.
A lot of items sit dead on scm (steam community market) for a long time even though they are reasonably priced.
Be careful future scm traders.

im a low tier trader, and so is one of my friends. he always searched the market, and i told him "why are you searching its such a rip-off." he then 10 minutes later found a disco beat down detective noir ~20 keys for 20 pounds. very good. i happened to have 20 pound on steam so i bought it. he was ok with it.

When you are searching for "Unusual" and weapons come up, you can go to the filters > type and then click on "Cosmetic", and it should restrict the results to be hats only.
