I have used them in the past and it did work really well. it doesn't make you smarter, it just boost your intelectual productivity and capability to absorb informations. However they come with bad side effects.

It's so dumb why wouldn't you take a drug that helps you succeed in class, like wheres the harm there all it is doing is making you a smarter more focused person

If people, could take smart drugs and do better, again I don't see how this is different from sports enhancement. It is cheating full stop. Either everyone single person take  them or no one takes them, only way to make it fair and of course both won't happen so they should be banned.   

If work was easy, what would be the point? If it was easy to achieve good grades, what's the point in trying? it is meant to be challenging, If everyone did well, then how can you distinguish.

I'm no neuroscientist, but I am pretty sure that taking amphetamines (all of these drugs are derived from them) isn't going to work out very well in the long run.
