Life as an Adelphi Panther: The College Tour at Adelphi

Adelphi expands horizons—not just academic, but social as well. In this segment of the Adelphi University episode of The College Tour, Sarah Carbain, psychology major in the Scholar Teacher Education Program (STEP), talks about diving into some of Adelphi’s more than 90 clubs and activities.

Sarah, a psychology/Scholar Teacher Education Program (STEP) major, came to Adelphi for the excellent five-year master’s degree in education program. She ended up having an amazing college life experience as well. Although shy at first, she was welcomed into many of Adelphi’s clubs and activities. She joined a sorority and is now president of the student activities board. At Adelphi, she’s developed skills she’ll use as a teacher, like leadership, working with others and peer mentoring.
