Sasuke started using Amaterasu in his right eye because he didn’t want to wear out his rinnegan like in his fight with naruto because he learns from his mistakes

Itachi used his right eye to cast tsukuyomi on kakashi and kid sasuke....
In the battle against sasuke he used the left eye for tsukuyomi and right eye for amaterasu. Against kabuto itachi used the left eye for izanami and right eye for tsukuyomi....

It probably has to do with the fact how much stress be put on his eyes. Using Amaterasu and Control them with one eye is way more stressing for his eye but splitting the job into two eyes one for making flames and the other for controlling them halves the stress on the eye...

Wtf, amaterasu from rinnegan was a mistake by animator’s in manga it’s still other eye + itachi only implanted one time use amaterasu in Sasuke eye, later Sasuke awaken his Ms and amaterasu with that and not due to itachi implantation

What itachi implanted was one time use, he got actual amaterasu after taking itachi's eyes.He can use amaterasu from both eyes but mythologically amaterasu was born from left eye so to do that symbolism kishimoto did that.

Itachi’s implant was only a single cast meant for Obito.
And probably learned how to cast it out of his right eye to save his rinnegan from fatigue. It is also a note that Itachi’s right eye had Amaterasu, so when he got his eyes for the EMS it allowed him to cast it from his right.

This is actually false itachi did not give Sauske Amaterasu and yes there is a plot whole in the eye theory but it did not come from Sauske as a matter a fact the plot whole began began in the war arc when madara took kakashi eye to travel to kamui to get to óbito so they filled in the plot whole by allowing sauske to do the same
