For people pointing at pure tank mode teams(buffalo, Ottawa) as how it doesn’t work you can equally point at (det, Nash) as teams who refuse to tank and took our current approach who have all been stuck in mediocrity and used free agency. You can be a real good team if you catch right breaks. But GREAT teams with sustainability never created this path.
