Boss DD-8 Delay Pedal on Korg Minilogue XD Synthesizer

I don't talk in my reviews, my opinions are written here if you need extra information about this cute pedal. The demo is recorded in stereo and I played some presets of the XD, which are quite decent.

This guy costs 169 dollars on Amazon. It is a huge deal for the money. No doubt about it. This is a solid, multi-functional, and creativity enhancer pedal.

It has 11 modes, of which I highlight, the shimmer, the RV+, the MOD, and the tape. You can't go wrong with those, from leads to deep pads.

However, I think the pedal could sound better. It sounds great, but I was a bit disappointed while swapping between the modes. I was expecting that deepness and expansiveness that can build a real ambient soundscape.

It goes on really well with the Minilogue XD. They seem to understand and, definitely, you'll have hours of fun. But don't expect something close to a Strymon. Those 300 bucks of difference are very real.

The built quality is top, but the knobs don't rotate quite smoothly. The on-off button is soft enough to be hand-operated.

One of the advantages I see in this guy is the level of flexibility you can get from it. I have used it a couple of times in the send/return channel of and Xone 96 and, it worked perfectly for a progressive techno mix.

The DD-8 is close to my podium, but it's not my ideal choice. Even so, it is a great choice for the price.
