very underrated backrooms YouTuber. Captured the pure energy of oddly nostalgic elements but turned it up to 11 with that new distorted remix of that music when it got dark.

also never heard a vocalized version of the regular one either.

Even this level is probably the nearest I've seen to the actual source material.

1:33 nice use of the Tape Stop effect. It creates a sense of dread usually when something happy gets worse or bad. When I saw it become nighttime and when I heard it, my mind said "oh no". Really well done!

Damn. I was so enthralled by Al Bowlly’s singing that I didn’t realize the protagonist should’ve just ran off, lmao. I would definitely die real quick in this level, especially considering my current mental state, lol. I’ve actually barely witnessed a personification of the smilers through video. I love how terrifying the situation of the night truly is with how the music stopped playing. I also love how you’ve managed to give each smiler different personalities like one of the final ones spinning around while looking at the protag before the closest one decides to eat them. Absolute cinema.

Edit: I didn’t realize there was a giant wooden mannequin guy just vibing on the road at the bottom of the hill at the end, LOL.
