Iran & Israel are in a lose-lose situation, they can’t cross the red line or back out

Even though Israel and Iran are regional adversaries, they also have a long history secret military cooperation. Their common interests are a powerful restraint on both countries to avoid war.

I will kind of disagree here. Iran unilaterally rocked the boat in October 2023, and presently is in the process of discovering that it has bitten off far more than it can chew. The end point can be a regime change in Iran, if not in months , then within a couple of years. The military cooperation between Iran and Israel happened in a different day and time. Not particularly relevant now.
