It's not that she's a woman. It's that the general audience, the ones who buys tickets, was hoping that the original silver surfer would have been done properly this time and expected a familiar version. The box office always had final say...

I honestly and without doubt do not care about this movie. I still hope it's gonna be good but it sounds horrible. Not as bad as the previous 3 movies but it's own bad. Time period sounds like it'll be complicated. Not a fan of any of the casting. RDJ as Doom sounded good but not sounds like desperation.
From one to ten on anticipation id give this a 1 at best

Of course they're making the Silver Surfer a female, since it's always been a male, smh.why are they doing that, should start making parodies with men in women's roles, just to see people's reactions
