How to Create a Custom Mixer Brush in Photoshop

Here’s how to use the Mixer Brush tool to take your painting to the next level:

1️⃣ Find the Mixer Brush
Locate it under the Brush Tool menu in Photoshop.

2️⃣ Prepare Your Materials
Create small spheres representing the materials you want to paint (e.g., metal, fabric, etc.). Size your brush to match the size of your sphere.

3️⃣ Sample the Sphere
Use your brush to sample the sphere, which will now become the base color for your brush strokes.

4️⃣ Adjust Settings
Go to the Mixer Brush settings and set Wet to 0% and Load to 100%.

5️⃣ Choose a Simple Brush
Pick a simple round brush. I recommend the LP Round Creamy brush from my painting set for smooth results.

6️⃣Start Painting
Use your custom brush to create textures and materials with ease.
