Dezeen has teamed up with Autodesk to host a panel discussion about the role of AI and data in architecture practice. Watch the broadcast here at 4:00pm London time on Monday 8 May.

Moderated by Dezeen's editor Tom Ravenscroft, the talk will hear from three experts on how data and AI are being used across the architecture industry.

The panel features Brooke Grammier, chief information officer at Cannon Design, Knut Ramstad, partner and chief technology officer at Nordic Office of Architecture, and Harlen Miller, associate design director and senior architect at UN Studio.

Amy Bunszel, executive vice president of architecture, engineering and construction design solutions at Autodesk, introduces the discussion.

The speakers discuss topics including the role of AI and data within the design process and the effect they may have on the future of the architecture industry.

The talk coincides with the launch of the first set of capabilities of Autodesk Forma, an industry cloud that unifies workflows across teams, specifically those that design the built environments.

The first set of Autodesk Forma capabilities are now available. The software targets the early stages of planning and design with new ways to unify workflows and automate processes, giving architects more time and space to focus on creative solutions.

I connect the dots between human centered design and quantitative data for a sensor company. This conversation is very valuable and in-line with what we are hearing from our clients. Looking forward to AI opening up more opportunities for us to have a continuous design process that uncovers our blind spots. Thank you. 🙏

Absolutely nothing about Forma in this presentation. Waste of time.
