After testing 6 sets of shocks completely blind and unbiased in our Shock Value Series 3 Mid Budget line-up, we get into the details about how the Elka 2.0 IFP shocks performed in our test, and our thoughts on the build quality, serviceability, price and whether or not we would recommend them!

I have elka 2.5 non res in my 2007 Tundra and I would agree that they are a bit bouncy. They are overall are a much higher build quality vs bilsteins, the harsh winters with salt and elkas still look brand new. I found the 6112’s to have a very smooth and plush ride, with a bit of body roll, however the 5165’s in the rear were garbage. I got less than 2 yrs and all seals were shot, they were rusted out and I was told no warranty. This is all on same truck so its a good comparison

Would be cool to a review of Dirt King's kit, they're built by Elka with Dirt King's chosen valving. Or ADS Suspension that DRT sells

What's the difference between the model that states 0-2 inches of lift and the model that states 2-3 inches of lift? Thanks

Just curious . . .did you have Elka custom tune the valving for you prior to install? If not do you think that would be a big factor in their overall performance? I was close to pulling the trigger on some of these . . .but I think I have been scared off?
