I agree. I would like to add that is equally important to know when to let go of a project and allow yourself to move on to something new (especially when you are still learning). Some ideas will just not work with the skillset you currently have, and some tracks, or paintings or stories you make can be viewed as simply practice and be left unfinished, so you can start and finish something new that will be a lot better because of the practice you've got from the unfinished projects. At least that's my experience.
