They should add something called the texture tool that changes the texture of stone wood or other placeable items plus they should also allow us to place anything upside down and from the outside the stone walls would look very good but from inside the wooden walls werelooking good😅but yes you should actually don't use colours on the buildings as in the mediaeval period only rich or nobility has the right and money to colour
