The only reason Assange got a deal at this moment is bc the Australian PM Tony Albanese wanted Assange freed and US needed approval to fast track US military transfers to AUS ahead of possible China aggression in the South China Sea ahead of the 2024 election. US does have bases in Philippines but all are within range of missile strikes, Australia is ideal for increased US military buildup bc it’s outside rage of most missiles and to work with Australias navy to build its own nuclear submarines by 2040

My own thought on this is he is doing what our own new media & journalists representatives aren’t . If he or Snowden didn’t let we the people know what’s going on .
