Letting God Order Your Steps (with Tim Ross) | The Leader's Cut w/ Preston Morrison

When you walk with God, things rarely happen the way you expect them to. Sometimes you stumble into something that you never saw coming, simply because of your proximity to Him. Preston sits down with Tim Ross to discuss what life looks like walking with God. What is His pace? And what happens when you say ‘yes’ to it?

One thing I would like to add to the dialogue of sprinting and running is this. While you are walking you can look around and enjoy the view. While you are sprinting everything is a blur and you have a tunnel vision. Walking allows us to see the beauty in full display that God has put together for you.

I’m convinced that when you two get together it’s like prime Shaq and Kobe. I love you both and thank you for stumbling forward in His name.

I was lying in bed exhausted and God asked me to do something that I had done before when I was 'sprinting' and I said "But God I did that already...and it didn't work. Im exhausted. I am so tired." It was 4 in the morning and CLEAR AS A BELL He said "Let your net down on the right side, this time." I SAT STRAIGHT UP. Tears everywhere. I went to work. "I've fished all night. NEVERTHELESS, at your word...I will let down the net." SO HERE WE GO!!! THIS WORD WAS TIMELY and I am going to walk. AMEN! Thank you Thank you Thank you.

God's ways aren't our ways. His thoughts aren't our thoughts. He uses the foolish of this world to confound the wise. God's ways are so much better! Amazing conversation.

Going to have to say uncle Tim Ross.."God will make you look big to people as long as you stay small to him". This is golden sound like I was sitting with my wise uncle.

Pastor Preston and Tim are my "online" mentors. God spoke so clear to me to what I am going through, what I am praying and reading in real time. I am so grateful to God for creating these men of God and their surrender.😭. Pastor Preston and Tim if you see this, with a full heart...thank you.

You know what.. stumbling and obedience are the strategy at this point because I’m so over sprinting and still not getting to the finish line. Lord I surrender 🙌🏾

This is my whole
Life I’m a conversation 😢. I started out sprinting like crazy and everyone was loving it and cheering me on and although I felt the pressures it made me so proud and puffed up to be moving ahead, experiencing presence and presents that many have never had! I’m sure you can guess that I got tired and distracted and before long fell and didn’t even know what happened. To make it worse I was offended by others who were seemingly catching up and passing me that I started throwing a tantrum with God.
Listen! The Lord had to show me where I had landed and gently walked me back into a slow paced race. 😭 I don’t even know anything right now. I’m just going.
Thanks men of God for this

I needed this. My 30 year old self feels like my life is over forgetting I still have probably 50 years. And if I die tomorrow, I still did ALL of what I was called to do.
