As a Christian I think we should respect everyone no matter what. We’re all God’s children wether some of us know it or not and deserve to be treated kindly. It doesn’t matter sexuality, gender, race, religion, or anything as long as you’re kind to people.

(edit) Yes I know some of these are considered sins in the Bible but it doesn’t mean you need to hate or treat someone differently because of it. The Bible even says love everyone no matter what.

If they’re a true Christian (or any religion that speaks of love and acceptance) they won’t care who you’re attracted to or how you dress or anything; we’re supposed to love everyone as a sister or brother and not judge because that’s not our place. I’m sorry for anyone who has ever felt persecuted or put down by any religious a-holes.

The word “homosexuality” never appeared in the Bible until 1983 in the German translated version. The original word was “Arsenokoitai” from Greek and the Latin origin of the word is “paedico” and “praedico” which meant pederasty; pedophilia. The original German translation—before 1946–of “arsenokoita” was “Knabenschander” Knaben meaning boy and Schander meaning abuser/molester. The very few verses in the Bible that even use the word “arsenokoitai” or “knabenschander” (there were originally only about 4 verses) were talking about child molestation, specifically boy molestation because young girls were still seen as old enough to marry back then which is a whole problem in itself and yet another thing we know to be wrong and vile today. I can’t force anyone to believe the truth, I can only point them to it and pray they take it to heart.
