Honestly superheros not killing is kinda dumb. I mean i know the reason they dont but still. They kill hundreds of people all the time and wont stop until they die of old age or something.

What I think would’ve been a funny story is if someone shot the Joker dead. Not a superhero, not the cops. Like, he decides on a change of scene and decides to start shit in Texas or Virginia. But before he can even really get going, some rando with a CCW blows his freaking head off. No epic battle with Batman, no glorious sendoff, just one triple-tap to put him out of the world’s misery.

What’s Batman going to do about it? It’s clear-cut self defense, and John or Jane Q. Public didn’t break the law. He/She would just answer a few questions from the cops and be on their way.

That’s the problem with having human-level villains, as opposed to forces of nature like Thanos or Darkseid. The story relies on keeping the easily-killable villain alive, and the populace as helpless masses that basically serve as a scorecard for the ongoing hero/villain contest. When you think about it, Bats it just as responsible for deaths-by-Joker as the Joker himself is. Along with the system that keeps sticking him in the cardboard prison that is Arkham instead of the chair.

That’s why Joker meeting his end at the hand of an ordinary person just defending himself would be so poetic. It brings the epic to the real, and lends the lie to Joker’s self perception.

They break their rules all the time. Especially when they are in the hood. Superheroes bastards.

You either die a hero
Or live long enough to see yourself become the villain
The object of the villain is to push the hero so far to the edge that they are forced to retreat from the inevitable or cross that line of no return
If it means to save lives for the greater good
Than the rules must be broken

#3 is the second worst thing done by a summers brother. The worst thing done by a summers brother is everything Gabriel summers/Vulcan has done in the comics from 2005-2009

Wonder Woman killing Maxwell Lord was completely justified in my opinion. He could not be allowed to control Superman again or else many would likely perish. Plus, Diana had Maxwell bound by her lasso, which forced him to tell the truth. She asked him twice how to break his hold over Superman, and twice he replied, “Kill me.” Diana grew up in a nation of warrior women who have a history of using lethal force, so I don’t think it is accurate to imply that she is against killing. Rather, she will not kill if other non-violent means are possible, but she is willing to take a life if it is the only option (as it was in this instance). Also, she did not “viciously” kill him as stated in this video. Instead, she did it out of necessity and without any emotion. If they actually read the comic, they would know this to be true.

I can understand Superman killing Joker but then he killed green arrow, Lex Luther and SHAZAM and keep in mind that SHAZAM was only a 15 year old kid

If there is one thing I am tired of hearing comic fans criticize, it's Ant Man and Wasp's relationship. Yes, it ended badly, but they had genuine affection for each other and are still friends, and in some cases a relationship. Hank wasn’t even Yellowjacket by choice. They are my favorite heroes and I hope to fix that as a writer.
