I have a 45* square strike chipper in the bag. I use it a ton (I miss a lot of greens). ⛳️ Don’t see it leaving the bag. It’s so easy to get a solid result with it.

It’s like an 8 iron! There’s also a Radius Wood chipper when you search online.

Looks pretty good. But don’t sell the “chipper” short. I have a Cleveland C-wedge and it’s far from an around the green only, one trick pony. The chipper is really a wide soled, heavy, very upright nine iron. I can take mine from 50 yards and lay them on a table cloth. It also spins less than my wedges and nine iron so I can hit a great little punch with it.😎

So the sightline… I like the idea. Is it legal to put these on my irons? I think it would help me a little with squaring the face at address. Or even using a sharpie to put a straight line down the face of my irons. Your thoughts? Thanks man, live your videos!!

Looks good for a chipper. Seen alot of gimmicky looking chippers. For me though I rarely leave myself a shot where this club shines. I tend to have to scramble onto the green. Lol

Personally, I went from using a chipper to using a 9 iron - much more flexible, using multiple variations on grip and swing.

Ping has offered a Chip-O or a Chip-R for like 40 years. It is trully a "High End" club as far as design/fit/finish. I added a Chip=R to my bag a year or so ago and have dropped 4 off my average. These clubs make Joe Blow seem like Joe Pro.

No chance id game 1, if anything i want to be allowed 15 clubs to add an extra wedge in the bag, no chance im taking a club out to make room for a chipper. If i had 13 clubs or lees id game 1 though
