People choose political parties with no clue of what their choice stands for, stuff that turns out necessarily way too subtle & ocean-deep for most if not all human minds. But "we" only know & listen to people just like us, so no way out of those thick clouds that bring solace & freshness to usually sizzling minds.

There are several stories of commercial airline pilots-- who don't have the luxury of being able to eject-- guiding their failing aircraft so that it caused the least amount of harm on the ground when it crashed. With what I know of this story so far, I feel that military pilot acted irresponsibly by ejecting and allowing his aircraft to continue flying out of control. I'll be interested to see what the military has to say about his actions (although they'll probably keep all the proceedings secret.) Imagine if that plane had killed people on the ground because the pilot abandoned his duty in order to save his own life!
