Definitely second the fact that Hobonichi items are incredibly artistic as much as they are planner related. It makes them incredibly special and delightful. I don't like to buy many prints or art pieces because I don't have a good place to display them but buying a cover with art I like means that I get to see it everytime I open my planner and it is also something that is functional.

I just brought a bunch of pencil boards this year, and they cheer me up every time I go to my daily pages!

I have no interest in any of your stationary but you're so relaxed and calm that it's nice to see you explain the products. It seems like a nice hobby 👍

I had an urge to create an I Love Paris journal and it was so fun. I own a very large handmade journal with old vintage images from an art book. Its covered in vintage coffee dyed fabric. One thing about journals is they can really cheer you up very quickly.

The kinbor and stalogy fits in the cousin covers. You could sell the planners on eBay, mercurial, postmark or fb groups.

I didn't notice the little secret picture in the pocket and now I'm kicking myself! I related more to O'Malley than anyone in that movie, but still...

Saul Leiter cover…yes, it’s set in NY.

I am a disc-bound A5 Planner loyalist, so I blame YouTubers like you (and maybe too much wine after dinner) for purchasing Hobonichi products this year! In my defense, I mostly purchased blank notebooks (in both A5 and A6 sizes) and one Weeks (because it came in pink, LOL.) I have large handwriting and "Old Lady Eyesight, " so A5 is best for me, but the Weeks was just so darn cute, I couldn't resist! It is hard NOT to purchase multiple covers--I like to change mine out by season. I kind of don't want to become a fan because it annoys me that they sell out so quickly when they launch. Ugh.

We have the same taste in covers! I have the first two in A6. I adore the flower one. It is gorgeous! I also wanted exactly the third A5 cover. That exact cover and that exact cover on cover, but I talked myself out of it. I ended up getting the one where it's yellow and has butterflies on it. :) I agree with you that they are like pieces of art. I love looking at them.

I seem to recall a video talking about your goal not to buy stationary in 2022 ;)

Great video, though, Sour Pasch Kid 💜
