I’ve changed a lot of things with my budget as well. Love the idea of taking any leftover money in categories and putting it in a sinking fund! Also love what you said about spending more on groceries and it being “your budget your rules” I completely agree!

Great video Katie! I totally agree. We all have our comforts that we don’t mind spending our money on. I wouldn’t feel bad bumping up the groceries if it’s less stressful and gives you peace of mind!

Lowes Foods, Lenovo laptops at Best Buy, Honda CRV, (this is probably gonna be my next car), Motrin, and Chegg ads.
I had to increase groceries, too. I used to budget $200/mo. I was actually doing okay with that, but I spent close to $350 this month. Granted, we decided to go back to HelloFresh, so that takes about $150/mo. We've also been going to the farmer's market for fresh produce, so that can get kinda pricey, too. I feel okay about it though because I got a raise, so it pretty much covered the increase.
That's cool that you decided to bring back the pie chart. I like the escrow fund. Enjoyed the video 💜

Good for you! I’m stopped beating myself up about our grocery budget bc I don’t go crazy yet it’s still expensive. I do try to minimize eating out. My MIL gives hubby a hard time about eating out for lunch and on weekends but he is frugal in all other ways, doesn’t buy designer stuff or anything I can think of other than a video games at Christmas time, oh and NFL ticket thing. I’ve never even seen him buy sneakers in our 10 year marriage 😳 and he has to be forced to replace work/church shoes/clothes 😂
