TBH I think the creepy decayed look gives a lot more character and a lot more creepiness, or even realism. Seemed more valuable in his previous state. Could have probably just reverse-engineered a brand new Norman instead; although I do imagine that would cost more.

That puppet is probably the most disturbing thing that I have ever seen. Im not joking when I say that every time it was shown in the video my heart started pounding. That thing activates my fight or flight response or something.
