It looks really neat. I like it a lot. I don't worry about animations because I've usually got them turned off or sped up through the dev options(settings). I'm hoping they start paying more attention to the edge panels one day because there haven't been any updates or changes to it for a while, as far as I can tell. And they really should add a vert stack to recent pages, too. My icons are themed as soon as I have my device set up and running, so that isn't much of an issue to me. I applaud and appreciate the effort of the devs. This stuff can't be easy. And thank you for the updates 👍

One UI now is more about how to look like iOS rather than having its own identity. One UI 2 was the peak when Samsung did what they actually wanted to do to stand out from others.

I am a big fan of one ui 7. They have finally optimised android so well that they can focus on modern look of the ui. I hope they don't forget the status bar because right now looks really outdated. Im really excited

Samsung needs to first improve the stability, accuracy, and completeness of notifications on their phones. In many apps, notifications do not reach your phone.
For example, on Instagram, I usually receive 250 notifications per day on my iPhone, but on Samsung, this drops to 80 or 70. Even on days when all notifications do come through on the Samsung phone, when I tap on any one of them, all the remaining unread notifications disappear because I entered and exited the app.

For instance, let’s say I receive notifications from the accounts I follow in three categories: photo posts, Reels, and Stories. If the total number of photo notifications is 68, when I tap on any one of them, it takes me to the app. If I exit the app using the back button, the remaining 67 photo notifications disappear.

This needs to be fixed. I want to be able to choose and review the notifications as I have time, without them disappearing after interacting with one.

Secondly, when adding an existing photo from one album to another, there should be an option to “add by reference” instead of copying the file. Normally, when you copy a photo to another album, it creates a duplicate of the same photo, taking up more memory. This consumes the phone’s storage. For example, on iPhone, you can add a single photo to hundreds of albums, but there is only one actual photo, and other albums just reference it, so the phone’s memory doesn’t fill up. You don’t need to create duplicates just to view the same photo in different albums.

Samsung should keep the copy and move options, but also include a reference method to add a photo to an album or folder without duplicating the file.

they missed infact messed up with the quick panel and notification panel, i hope somehow they provide us an option to keep the 6.0 panel through good lock 'cause this one looks terrible

I just shifted from my one plus 7 to Samsung just because of icon and ui as I am big fan of stock or one ui rather the Chinese oppo, vivo and other brand ui, I moved to one ui just because oxygen os has merged their ui with colour os, now same chinisse ui I can feel in one ui 7, I think I am never gonna update my s23 to one ui 7

Didn't like that rounded quick panel and notification panel. Also the vertical transition makes more sense functionally. But that won't remain I am sure. They removed the option from Apps Drawer as well. Never liked horizontal scrolling

I like the One UI 5 notification panel, where you can find which apps’ notifications are where in the bottom left corner.

It is really a bummer that we have to wait so long for One UI 7, but, i don't mind it that much, i can wait. Also, i think the One UI 7 looks awesome and i am excited, really want to see it
