INGREDIENTS
120ml (½ cup) of milk
120ml (½ cup) of fresh cream
3 egg yolks
60g (¼ cup) of sugar
Seeds from 1 vanilla bean
METHOD
1. Pour the milk and cream into a saucepan, bring to the heat, and warm while stirring continuously, but do not allow it to boil.
2. In a large bowl, add the egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla seeds.
3. Whisk together until you get a whitish mixture.
4. Gradually add the warm milk and cream, stirring after each addition.
