PARIS - European Christmas Markets 2017

Day 9: PARIS, France

(Days 7 & 8 were in Trier and Luxembourg. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough footage for a complete video.)

To be honest, I just wanted to save a some money on my flight home to Canada. But instead of just flying from Paris, I turned into my final Christmas market destination.
After diving into the iconic museums, the Christmas scene is worth strolling through, but by no means is it the best Christmas market out there. The subpar stalls surrounding the renowned Eiffel Tower didn't offer the excitement I was yearning for. However, the luminescent streets were a spectacle in itself.
It's quite clear that France isn't as committed to showcasing their Christmas-related small businesses as their German neighbours, the exception, of course, being those closer to the German border.
Despite my quick and rather underwhelming tour through the city of love, I can't deny the rich culture that Paris has to offer.
