Remember that it is not true 4k but rather dynamic 4k which changes the res when the framrate dips. It goes from 2560x1440p at max to 1280x1200 the least scaling upo as high as possible

i was questioning whether to get a hdmi 2.1 tv, i didn't think 120 fps would be that noticeable, but this looks so smooth. I hope more developers will support the format

Framerates vary. Unless you have an fps counter running, you won't know what your frames are. You did enable the tv and console to allow up to 120fps, but that in no way means that the game is running 120fps the whole time. Also, performance mode comes at a cost of resolution, hence why there are both modes (excluding default). So the console may be outputting 4k and the tv supporting 4k pass, but to have ultra settings, 4k, at a steady 120fps is not going to happen, at least for graphically demanding games like COD. Also, i noticed HDR is not enabled, which when enabled, comes with an average 10% fps drop across the board.

Have you noticed that HDR is not on..reason why I say is another YouTube I follow has noticed it - I’m trying to figure out if it’s the Q90t or the ps5 bandwidth - in the setting on your ps5 it said HDR supported.

What TV do you have? I have a Samsung Q90t, and when I switch to 120 frames on dirt 5, my tvs colors go way out of whack and it is unplayable. Contacted Samsung support and they said it's not the TV it's thr Playstation.

If you have any of the Samsung Q series TVs the HDMI 2.1 MUST be connected to HDMI 4 port for you to get 4K/120 FPS. Important detail.
