New Kids on the Block MADE a whole culture and crossed genre barriers in their hey day of the 80's and 90's.

In 2022, when New Kids on the Block and New Edition performed on a stage together, you can see the big bad Black gangster guy artists in the audience singing and dancing to it.
It's cool if you were from that generation and you know the culture of it and everything that transpired since and then seeing it now a days.

Just saw them in concert in Raleigh NC!! They were awesome. They broke up in '94. Got back together in 2008 and been killing it since with the new music. Got a new album. Awesome vocals from all!! Been an NKOTB fan since 80!! 20, 000 people rocking out guys and girls young and old!!

I am here for New Kids on the Block...my favourite boy group ever....Jordan Nathaniel Marcel Knight he would always remain my bias...Still in love with him...LOLLLL...also, I have my posters, and all of my memorabilia after 34 years and counting....oh hello (sir)...leave the BTS of the 80's for me please...anyways...New Edition and NKOTB shared the same producer Maurice Starr....incredible boy bands.

I was a toddler when thus came out, my older sister loved them, won concert tickets, had the 3:15 concert video..

Not my type of music but I'll admit it's catchy and im tapping my foot.

We laugh now but there's a reason a lot of songs like this were bangers of that era.

Remember that in my youth. New Kids on the block was the new chick heart throbber of the late 80’s early 90’s when it came out. Along with Vanilla Ice. “Ice ice baby”. Another log forgotten group of this time, MC Hammer, Boyz two men, *NSYNC, Backstreet boyz, 98 degrees hit the stage after New kids on the block.

I remember being in school and our homeroom teacher let the girls put up pictures of this band. Meanwhile myself a some friends had Metallica written on our trapperkeeper. 😅. I mean I grew up listening to Casey kasem top 40. There is some top 40 stuff that is good.

Yup, I was in like 5th / 6th grade when this dropped. It was California 80s and all the fine Mexican honeys was in love with these fools. At the same time Guns N’ Roses was coming on MTV and radio with the same fury. All the white kids was in to the GNR and dissing new kids 😂 a line was drawn in the sand and it was two camps on the yard 😂 think kids were just jealous tho that the honeys loved new kids, they had stickers, binders, t-shirts, the whole 9.

Boy bands automatically get a bad rep - but put a LOT of hard work and passion into their music and dancing. Jordan has an amazing falsetto - and he and Donnie are great lead singers. Very outgoing and charismatic - with a lot of fun music. Backstreet Boys have incredible harmonies as well - I'll Never Break Your Heart and Show Me the Meaning of Being Loney are well worth checking out. Both bands have been touring for DECADES - and I'm actually going to see New Kids next weekend in Toronto.

Donnie Walhberg, who had the small solo part, is close friends with Ralph Tresvant of the group New Edition.
