Just installed a Toyotomi. We had our monitor heater for 26 years. I hope these are as efficient.

My parents had one these types of heaters manufactured by Monitor which ran on kerosene which has continually gone up in price, you may be better off getting a propane heater. For the cost of one of these big vented heaters you can get a wall mounted propane heater and 79 refills of a 40 pound propane tank.

I have a 600 sq ft 104 year old log cabin. Current direct vent Empire freestanding propane heater is vented out the top of the cabin. Can I vent this out the roof too? It's a lofted ceiling, approx 12' ceiling.

Do you have to buy a separate machine if already have one in your basement if you want to get heat on the floor above it?

how long would a laser 730 run on 50 gals of diesel in a typical oregon winter (not alaska)? I know there are several variables, just looking for an estimated usage.

We may purchase a 731 and are venting in a corner. Can I have the vent pipe turned where the intake is on top and the exhaust pipe on the side?

Does Toyotomi make a heater that burns #2 home heating oil vs the very expensive K-1 Fuel?

I have a Monitor that runs on kero. The Toyotomi will run on kero or heating oil? Is there any advantage to continue using kero, or can I switch over to oil which is generally cheaper.

Is it possible to route the heat to a small 64cu ft sauna via flexible tubing? Similarly, can the exhaust be vented thru flexible rubber tubing to the outside? I know some furnaces have trouble with back pressure, and not able to push hot-air into such a confined space.

I am looking to replace our Monitor 2200 with a Toyotomi 530. Will the vent pipe line up with the existing hole in the wall?

Is Toyo as good as or is it better than Monitor brand heaters? Is it easier to work on or the same?

Is there any way to keep the frost from building on the eaves in the winter? I don't have much wind and when it gets in the single digits I get over an inch of frost buildup.
