Yes, Legendary Encounters Alien is fantastic. I love it. Recently received Zombicide: Undead or Alive and have logged about 15 plays so far. I play it purely solo, six survivors and flexible player turn order. Fantastic zombie game.

Dark Darker Darkest would be my pick, though I'd love to hear what your opinion on nemesis is and why it didn't jive. My spouse loves it, probably the crunchiest thing she's tried so far.
